We're back!

Well, since none of the people I'm hesitant to tell about this ever read my blog, and I'm sure very few people follow it anyway, I decided to openly announce, you guessed it!
Hyrum had his first day of school today and is getting his glasses sometime next week. Between dentist, eye, and other Dr. appointments, I'm pretty much booked for the next two weeks. I haven't yet set up an appointment for myself but am well on my way to getting to the root of both Hyrum and Ginnie's struggles.
One of Hyrum's main food allergies is apples in any form. Who would have guessed? And Ginnie is much better off with whole grains and proteins for longer periods of time (but when she starts one of her "rages" as I call them, I can expect them to last about twenty minutes until she settles down and allows me to give her food to eat...moments later, she is back to her regular self. Better to avoid it altogether, but lately it's been happening only fifteen …

Playing at Grandma's

My little sister, Kemarie sharing her new bundle of joy with her big sis. I was present at the birth of Chloe Rose Whiting.
Having fun with Uncle Trevor. My kids have a load of new Uncle's that they are just getting a chance to know. I've gained five new in-laws in the past sixteen months. They sure are taking to them well, though.
My sweetest niece.

Chloe Rose Whiting. This makes five grand daughters in a row for my parents.
My sweet little Ginnie Ann...the picture describes her personality perfectly. Just a sweetie.

Angela in her fuzzy ears...

Don't even think about it...whatever I touch is MINE!

Hyrum's toothless smile

Still a favorite activity.

Me attempt at feeding my little "angel" as she hit me with the balloon between each bite-

Fun at Grandma's!

Angela will often be found with a belt, or sock, or something long draped around her neck, and carrying one or more life size, or bigger than her - stuffed animals or doll's. She is very possessive of whatever she's playing with as you can see by the look in her eyes.

Five and Loving it!

Hyrum lost his first tooth today. And he's overcome his fear of dogs. He gets around big ones now and says out loud, "I love dogs, Mommy!" He had a good dream about a lot of dogs being nice to him last night. My little boy is growing up.

His tummy problems are mostly gone. He is allergic to apples in any form. He doesn't do well with acidy, citrusy, or wheat. He now hardly ever complains of tummy aches and doesn't have any of the previous problems he was having.

So happy to have this all sorted out before he starts Kindergarten the end of this month. He will be getting glasses before he goes. My little toothless, four-eyed Kindergartener.

He is writing better than ever and doing great at sounding out his words.
